How to make it

    Prepare chicken, all-purpose flour, vegetable oil, onions, green bell peppers, stalks celery, cajun seasoning, bay leaves, tomatoes, fully-cooked smoked beef sausage, okra, and salt and black pepper as listed.

    Heat a large pot and cook onions, green bell peppers, and stalks celery until softened.

    Add chicken, cajun seasoning, bay leaves, tomatoes, fully-cooked smoked beef sausage, and okra, followed by all-purpose flour, and salt and black pepper and vegetable oil; bring to a gentle simmer.

    Cook until the vegetables and proteins are tender and the flavors have blended, stirring as needed.

    Cook poultry until the thickest portion reaches 165°F.
