- 12 ounce whole-wheat pasta
- 2 cup canned black beans, drained and rinsed
- 3 cup bell pepper, sliced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- 3 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 tablespoon aji amarillo paste

How to make it

Cook the wheat pasta according to the package directions; reserve 1 cup pasta water and drain.

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet; cook the black bean with the bell pepper, salt, and lime juice, cumin, aji amarillo paste. Cook until the black bean is hot and the vegetables are tender.

Fold in the wheat pasta, adding reserved pasta water as needed to coat the black bean and bell pepper.
